The terms and conditions displayed in this article, are based on retail customers only. When purchasing wholesale products from Glossop Firewood and Fuel Suppliers Limited, you will receive a separate terms and conditions article.

Website

1. Any images, samples or descriptions displayed on this website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we strive to keep all illustrations as accurate as possible, they may differ in appearance from the items you receive.
2. Where bag sizes are stated, the customer will receive the same sized bags. Where the weight of bags are stated, these are guidelines to     the total weight of the product and may different slightly due to moisture content.
3. We have the right to cancel or change any order, in the rare event of an online error in pricing/promotion. We will contact the                 customer immediately in the event of an error.
4. The customers privacy is protected at all times. In order for us to provide our service, we require contact numbers, home                     addresses and financial information. This information will stay private at all times.
5. We may contact you, using the information you have provided us with.
6. You have placed an order with Glossop Firewood and Fuel Suppliers Limited when you have checked out, paid for the goods, and      received a confirmation email for your order.
7. When you place an order with us, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions written in this document.

Processing Orders and Delivery

1. When the customers order is completed, we begin to pack the order on to a pallet here in our yard.
2. The customers order is collected from our yard by a local transport company. This usually occurs the same day as you order. We provide the haulier with all the necessary delivery details.
3. The delivery will take 3-5 working days before it reaches the customers delivery address. The haulier will contact the customer to arrange an appropriate delivery day. If the customer would like to choose a timed slot or a weekend for their delivery, there will be an extra charge for this.
4. Once the customers order arrives at their address, the pallet will be lowered onto the kerbside. Assuming the ground is flat and tarmacked, the delivery driver may use his pallet truck to move the pallet as close as possible to where the customer would like. It is in no way the responsibility of the driver to handle individual bags on the pallet for the customer.
5. The goods will be considered to have arrived in good condition when the customer signs the delivery note.
6. If the goods appear to be damaged in transit, the customer must sign the delivery note to indicate the delivery has been received WITH damages evident. (failure to do this, will result in no claim whatsoever). The customer must also contact us on [email protected] within 24 hours of the delivery. The customer should also provide photographic evidence of the damage. Where damages are not indicated on the delivery note, Glossop Firewood and Fuel Suppliers Limited are unable to offer a refund.
7. Glossop Firewood and Fuel Suppliers Limited use a third party haulier to deliver orders. Any liability arising from the delivery process lies strictly with the haulier.

Refund Policy

1. If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so as soon as possible. Cancellations made before 4pm on the same day as you placed your order will NOT result in any charges to the customer.
2. If you choose to cancel the order after the given time, there will be a charge of up to £80. This charge will cover the costs for the transportation of your order back to our yard.
3. Cancellations can be made, up to 14 days after the purchase of the goods. After this given time, Glossop Firewood and Fuel Suppliers Limited will not accept cancellations.
4. Once your order has been cancelled, It is the customers responsibility the pallet is in a suitable position for the haulier to collect. This means at kerbside, or in the same place the pallet was delivered.
5. The customer will be refunded for every item they purchased, if the item is returned to us in a resalable condition. This means any products that have been opened/removed from the pallet will not be refunded. It is the customers responsibility to ensure all products are packed on the pallet securely. Glossop Firewood and Fuel Suppliers Limited will not refund items that have failed to be returned due to insecure packing.
